Engine Specs:
- L20B block with Z24 crank, L20B rods, Z24 pistons (89mm)
- Displacement close to 2400cc
- Fairlady Z flywheel, 280Z clutch
- L20B head, ported intake and exhaust, big stainless valves, Schneider/Jim Wolf cam .480 lift, 278 duration, comp. valve springs, comp. retainers, comp cam spray bar oiler
- 280ZX turbo oil pump, comp. oil springs.
- Dual 44mm Mikuni carbs, Mikuni manifold
- Custom Made Tri-Y design header, 21/2" exhaust, Dynomax muffler.
- L20B electronic distributor triggering a MSD 6AL, Jacobs Compucore plugwires.
- Approximate Horsepower was 160-170 when engine was new, now around 150-165hp due to mileage on engine.
- Carb jetting: 50 Pilot, 250 Main Air, OA Jet Block, 160 Main Fuel, 37 Venturi
- 12.5:1 air-to-fuel ratio at wide-open-throttle. (Tuned using AF meter.)

Suspension:
- 1979 280ZX strut housings and brakes with 1985 VW Golf Tokico front strut inserts (3-1/2" shorter than 510 long strut) and front spring perch lowered 1/2".
- performance coil springs (150lbs/in.)
- DP Racing Camber Plates with up to four degrees of negative camber.
- Dave Turner Motorsports coilover kit.
- Kontrolle front camber adjusters
- Energy Suspension rear crossmember and diff mount urethane bushings.
- Rear crossmember has 280ZX camber eccentric bolts installed and rear alignment is 3/4 negative and 0" toe.
